We have recently began the moving process and although it's just a little at a time the kids are finding all sorts of fun things that have been packed up for awhile! The little quads were actually ones that we had when the girls were little and they have just been stored up at Grandma's house. Well Jalen found them, took one ride and was hooked! In just one short day he had mastered the steering and was making big loops around the entire house. The only problem is that he doesn't weigh enough to make it up all the hills so one of us has to go rescue him when he gets stuck...and there is no doubt when he gets stuck because he yells as loud as he can "STUCK!". The good news is he was entertained and happy, the bad news it took us twice as long to unload everything because we had to go check on him or help him every few minutes. It just amazes me that someone as little as him...only 2...can be driving around this small machine! I guess it's just a boy thing...we actually joke that he already steers better than Ellie! On Sunday night after a long weekend of cleaning garages and moving we met for dinner because my parent's friend Anna Brite is in town from Norway. She was an exchange student when my parents were in high school and lived with my dad. They still keep in touch and she loves coming to visit! Jalen and Addie kept everyone entertained...Addie tried to keep up with Jalen on the quad in her favorite outfit...nothing! It was the cutest thing watching Addie ride around naked...and she definetly drives like a girl...all over the place! We have some fun years ahead of us and we are so excited to have so much property for the kids to play on!
